Little Death Returns to Weekly TWO Page Updates on October 13th!

On Friday the 13th, I will be back to updating Little Death with two pages a week! Thank you for giving me time. We’re so fucking back.

Chapter 2 Page 61. Ellery finds shelter inside the solarium, but someone is already there, waiting for him.

Chapter 2 will end at an estimated 140 pages. Currently, 61 pages from Chapter 2 have been published on littledeathcomic.com! 105 pages from Chapter 2 have been published on SubscribeStar.adult/pompoison.

I will be updating this site with 2 pages every Friday as well as early access pages on SubscribeStar.adult until Chapter 2 is finished. I estimate it will be completed by March 2024.

Having lost a physical dispute against Callisto in the woods, Ellery is currently fighting to regain agency in his dreams. But with so much access to Ellery’s memories, fears, and desires, the Lich Lord indulges in a cruel mind game. Chapter 2 Page 73 Teaser below.

Chapter 2 Page 73 Panel Teaser! Callisto warns Ellery “This may be your dream, but I’m your lord and master.” before snapping his fingers.

Since Patreon suspended me over the heavy content in Little Death, I’ve been using SubscribeStar.adult for fan support, but I still haven’t been able to restore the patronage I lost. Word of mouth is always more helpful than self-promo. Make sure your friends know about the undead erotic horror romance series going on over here if you think they would be interested! Little Death is self published, below the gutter fiction that runs solely on fan support. Thank you!

The Necromancer’s Ring – Little Death R-18 OC Mashup Illustration

When you’re undead, needles don’t feel quite as painful as they used to. You don’t bleed when pierced, but it’s a messy process all the same. Ellery’s never had training for this, but he doesn’t have a choice. Jasmine, a member of the necromancer’s court, supervises Ellery’s every movement with a sadistic intensity. The next thing the bonemail priest will be forced to do is ride the cock he just pierced. There’s the humiliating chance that the ring will get lost in him, but that’s always part of the fun.

Jasmine belongs to Ashe. Ellery and Callisto belong to me. All characters use he/him. This illustration was commissioned by Ashe and he is a joy to work with! He gave me a lot of free rein, and since I have done a commission with Ashe’s OCs before, I loved the idea of Jasmine bullying Ellery into doing something he really hated. >:)

This illustration is now in the Pom Store as a 13” x 19” Glossy Print! I wanted this illustration to become something people could put on their walls, so I got permission for commercial use right away. Thank you so much to Ashe for the fun commission and giving me the go ahead to make this into a print! 🙂

What happened to Little Death Comic Patreon?

The creator account got banned! On July 6th 2023, Patreon Support terminated my account without warning, due to my art allegedly violating community guidelines, which state “Patreon has zero tolerance for the sexualization of minors and sexual violence.” Little Death is a survivor story at its core and I actually started the comic to liberate myself from feeling shame about my sexual agency as a survivor now in adulthood. I have tried to reach out to Patreon Support to ask about my ban, but Patreon Support ignored my requests for further information. Support instead repeated their zero tolerance policy, refusing to engage meaningfully with my words, over the course of several weeks as I attempted to contact them. Because my account was terminated suddenly, I wasn’t able to contact any of my patrons who weren’t already in my private discord server.

To those who lost my account and didn’t know where I went, I am so sorry. I was too concerned for my privacy to write publicly about it. Because Patreon’s Trust and Safety Team behavior made me feel unsafe with inappropriate accusations, and since the ban occurred a week after they requested my ID, I was and still am concerned about how Patreon plans to use my personal information depending on what I write about them. The account termination was not made in accordance with any written ‘violate our community content guidelines this many times and we’ll suspend you for good’ rule, any transparency in their process, or willingness to understand diverse perspectives, so I have no trust in their word. They also took down an alt account I made to support my friends who still use the platform.

Options for how to handle this situation are being considered. I want to support my peers on Patreon and be exonerated. I also have pressing issues like keeping the lights on at home and continuing to make the art that’s important to me. I’m continuing Little Death and exploring ideas for future comics I want to do. I used Patreon’s platform for 3 years to earn a living off my art, but that’s no longer an option. I kept my Subscribestar.adult account as a mirror posting backup in case this ever happened. I continue to do the same Tiers and Rewards there that I had on Patreon.

The thing that bothers me the most about having my account terminated is being cut off from the community of Patreon and losing the support that 3 years of my hard work went into building!!! This all still feels deeply unsettling to me. It especially rankles that I invested so much in Patreon that I put a link to my creator page in the physical print of Volume 1. I’m trying to move on and let go of what I had. The good news is that I’m still here, Little Death is still here, and you can still support the comic if that’s something you wanna do!

“The Massachusetts Indie Comics Expo (MICE) is the New England area’s premiere event dedicated to the exciting and accessible art form of independent comics and graphic novels”

https://www.micexpo.org

On October 22-23rd I exhibited Little Death Issue 1 at the Massachusetts Indie Comic Expo. It is a huge honor that my story was admitted into a space of legitimacy and visibility by the Boston Comic Arts Organization. I recognize that for storytellers tackling difficult subjects in our work, this opportunity gives me a real life chance to represent art that is widely misunderstood and vilified in online spaces. I am extremely proud to have been able to stand there and show Boston who I am and what I’m about. Thank you MICE for granting me this opportunity. I will definitely be applying for future MICExpos and possibly other cons as well!

I was treated well by staff and by the Co-Director of MICE, Dan Mazur, who assured me that my comic, although geared toward mature readers, would definitely find an audience at MICE. He was correct about that. I still don’t know how many copies of Little Death issue 1 I sold last weekend, since I haven’t made a full accounting yet, but it was enough that I did more than just break even. I also had wonderful conversations with adult readers who were relieved to find work like mine at MICE. I met some of my local art heroes, who gave me words of encouragement, too. The crowd was kind, respectful and responsible, which I am grateful for. Now that I have tabled at one con, I feel much better prepared to handle my next one.

My table had only one comic book, but I brought tons of eye-catching merch which included stickers, soft gloss prints, postcards, and linoprinted totes & shirts. If you were unable to make it to MICE, there are still a few saved on my online shop: https://pompoison-studios.square.site

Thank you MICE! A special mention and thank you to my dear friend Dumby for supporting me through the entire con. She brought me meals while I tabled, helped me communicate my needs to MICE staff, watched my table while I used the restroom, and prepared the most delicious veggie pasta dinner with baby bella mushrooms and asparagus on Saturday night when I was too wiped out to cook for myself. I’m so grateful you were there and did so much, Dumby!

And thank you to Jack Turnbull, my tablemate in the Brookline room, for words of wisdom and encouragement. I’m sure we will meet again. Till next con!

Store

While I’m still figuring out a display for my new online shop that isn’t horrendous, you can find my handmade prints, stickers, and books right here! https://pompoison-studios.square.site/

I was primarily using Etsy for my e-commerce, but with all of the opaque seller fees they were taking, I realized they aren’t the gold standard anymore for small sellers. My Etsy store, https://etsy.com/shop/pompoison is still active, but I’ve made those prices higher to direct interested shoppers to my much more reasonably priced store.

DeadLove linocut print on cotton duck canvas, 12×12 inches, $20.00, only 3 left in stock as of October 11
