The Necromancer’s Ring – Little Death R-18 OC Mashup Illustration

When you’re undead, needles don’t feel quite as painful as they used to. You don’t bleed when pierced, but it’s a messy process all the same. Ellery’s never had training for this, but he doesn’t have a choice. Jasmine, a member of the necromancer’s court, supervises Ellery’s every movement with a sadistic intensity. The next thing the bonemail priest will be forced to do is ride the cock he just pierced. There’s the humiliating chance that the ring will get lost in him, but that’s always part of the fun.

Jasmine belongs to Ashe. Ellery and Callisto belong to me. All characters use he/him. This illustration was commissioned by Ashe and he is a joy to work with! He gave me a lot of free rein, and since I have done a commission with Ashe’s OCs before, I loved the idea of Jasmine bullying Ellery into doing something he really hated. >:)

This illustration is now in the Pom Store as a 13” x 19” Glossy Print! I wanted this illustration to become something people could put on their walls, so I got permission for commercial use right away. Thank you so much to Ashe for the fun commission and giving me the go ahead to make this into a print! 🙂

What happened to Little Death Comic Patreon?

The creator account got banned! On July 6th 2023, Patreon Support terminated my account without warning, due to my art allegedly violating community guidelines, which state “Patreon has zero tolerance for the sexualization of minors and sexual violence.” Little Death is a survivor story at its core and I actually started the comic to liberate myself from feeling shame about my sexual agency as a survivor now in adulthood. I have tried to reach out to Patreon Support to ask about my ban, but Patreon Support ignored my requests for further information. Support instead repeated their zero tolerance policy, refusing to engage meaningfully with my words, over the course of several weeks as I attempted to contact them. Because my account was terminated suddenly, I wasn’t able to contact any of my patrons who weren’t already in my private discord server.

To those who lost my account and didn’t know where I went, I am so sorry. I was too concerned for my privacy to write publicly about it. Because Patreon’s Trust and Safety Team behavior made me feel unsafe with inappropriate accusations, and since the ban occurred a week after they requested my ID, I was and still am concerned about how Patreon plans to use my personal information depending on what I write about them. The account termination was not made in accordance with any written ‘violate our community content guidelines this many times and we’ll suspend you for good’ rule, any transparency in their process, or willingness to understand diverse perspectives, so I have no trust in their word. They also took down an alt account I made to support my friends who still use the platform.

Options for how to handle this situation are being considered. I want to support my peers on Patreon and be exonerated. I also have pressing issues like keeping the lights on at home and continuing to make the art that’s important to me. I’m continuing Little Death and exploring ideas for future comics I want to do. I used Patreon’s platform for 3 years to earn a living off my art, but that’s no longer an option. I kept my Subscribestar.adult account as a mirror posting backup in case this ever happened. I continue to do the same Tiers and Rewards there that I had on Patreon.

The thing that bothers me the most about having my account terminated is being cut off from the community of Patreon and losing the support that 3 years of my hard work went into building!!! This all still feels deeply unsettling to me. It especially rankles that I invested so much in Patreon that I put a link to my creator page in the physical print of Volume 1. I’m trying to move on and let go of what I had. The good news is that I’m still here, Little Death is still here, and you can still support the comic if that’s something you wanna do!

Somerville Switchbox Mural • Supported by the Somerville Art Council

Thank you Somerville for letting me paint this electrical box on your beautiful corner of Summer and Willow St! The work on this began on June 3rd, 2022 and finished on June 15th, 2022.

I met many kind people while working here. I will never forget the words of gratitude from the neighborhood folks that saw me out there during the day and at night. I love you, Somerville!

When I started, I was worried about being harassed by strangers since I was alone, but from the start, people I didn’t even know encouraged me and shared kind words. On the final night of painting, I worked by the phone lights of several supportive new friends.

I hope that this is inspirational for other artists reading this. No matter what your medium or preferred subject is, there is always a place for you. Let art be a bridge between you and your community. It’s scary at first, but it’s worth it.

This design is inspired by the renegade identity of tomatoes in 1700s Europe. This era saw tomatoes misjudged as a deadly poison by aristocrats. The fruits were dubbed “poison apples” because aristocrats would get sick and die after eating them. But the truth of the matter was that wealthy Europeans were eating them off of pewter plates and giving themselves lead poisoning. The tomato was cast as the villain of the story, however, until 1880, when pizza was invented in Naples, and the tomato’s use became widespread in Europe…

I painted tomatoes in Somerville as a sign of solidarity with the members of our city who face present-day persecution: communities of color, disabled communities, and queer communities. Each of us is connected by a common strand that roots itself deep underground, and commercial success whitewashes our collective stained histories. That’s what tomatoes are: a poison apple turned around in the hand of power, and a symbol of the unfinished march to freedom.

This artwork is supported in part by a grant from the Somerville Arts Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council! Thank you for opening doors for artists like me, SAC!

Debuting on SubStar & Patreon • Little Death Chapter 2: Precious Things

Panel capture with my home-brewed censoring over the speech text from Page 12

Synopsis: Ellery Firth isn’t sure what’s real anymore, but he does know this- when the shadowy man from his nightmares stalks him in real life with whispered threats and skating touches, he fears that this grim secret will ruin his reputation among his classmates. Ellery’s bizarre suitor cloaks his days in darkness, and threatens to eclipse what precious public regard Ellery has left.

Precious Things, the sequel comic to Death and the Boy, focuses on deep exploration into Ellery’s life and the progression of his fraught relationship with the perverse lich, Callisto. It’s currently debuting for readers supporting me with $3 per month on SubscribeStar or Patreon! This summer I will be devoting my time to giving you 2 page updates every week. I plan to wait until September to make Precious Things free to read with one page out every four days. Recently, page 12+13 was posted and I plan to publish 14+15 this Sunday! If you are interested in continuing to read about Ellery and Callisto, do consider joining! <3 https://subscribestar.adult/pompoison Become a Patron!
